This tin lantern has a wire cage surrounding the globe. The pear shaped globe is molded with the top and bottom bands. There are traces of asphaltum paint on the base and the balance is a smooth tin finish with some traces of black paint.

This tin lantern has a wire cage surrounding the globe. The pear shaped globe is molded with the top and bottom bands. There are traces of asphaltum paint on the base and the balance is a smooth tin finish with some traces of black paint. The tin font contains a two-light camphor burner. It measures 16 ¾ inches to the top of the carrying ring, 12 ½ inches with the ring down, and 5 ¾ inches at the base.
