Description
This is an early five-pointed ocean fishing spear, completely hand-forged. The socket was made for a long handle. It measures 14 inches long with a 4 ½ inch diameter spear. It is in excellent condition with only minor surface rust. At first glance one would mistake this for a medieval or 18th century fighting spear. It was found in a local Maine home.
