Description
This is a simple 18th century Queen Anne mirror with an unusual addition of brass tacks decoration. It is English or American and dates circa 1720-1740. The brass tacks are an 18th or early 19th century and were probably applied at that time. The mirror glass frame is heavy cross-banding. The scroll crest is walnut veneer on pine or spruce. The mirror has a beautiful old faded walnut finish. It measures 22 ½ inches x 12 inches.
