Quick ViewThis Revolutionary War Horseman Saber has a very heavy cast brass hilt over 1/8 inch thick. The guard has four slots as well as a triangle slot in the knuckle bow which terminates into a wide brass ferrule below the pommel. The grip is maple with an incised spiral.

Quick ViewThis sword conforms closely in construction to the “Potter” swords of the American Revolution. Refer to “Swords and Blades of the American Revolution” by George Newmann, pg 166 & 167. The sword is brass or bronze hilted with a spiral carved wooden grip with the original wire wrap.
