Description
A nice clean 1795 Type 3 Springfield musket. The musket is 59 ½ inches overall with a 44 ¾ inch barrel. The lock is dated 1810 and the butt tang is dated 1811. The musket is completely original with an original 1795 bayonet (variant). The bayonet has all of the proper markings as well as the musket. The unusual feature of the musket is the US Surcharge on the top of the barrel.
