Description
This shorebird decoy has signs of use of hunting but retains nearly all of its original paint and original bill. The support rod appears to be original to the bird. There is a hole in the tail of the bird for stringing the rig for transport. It measures 10 inches long x 2inches thick. In wonderful condition with beautiful old patina. Circa 1900. From a Maine home.
