Description
This is an extremely rare early dated powder horn. The horn is inscribed “William Nichals His Horn Westpiont Apriel 14 1708”. The horn was acquired from a family that had owned it for 50-75 years and the family they acquired it from stated that the horn was from Westpoint, Delaware which is now Virginia. The horn is completely original with the exception of the brass hook in the plug.
