This is a British 1769 Short Land Musket. Some authorities refer to this model as a 1769/76 British Short Land Pattern. There were approximately 68,000 of these muskets produced during the 1768-1777 production period making this a scarce model.

BROWN BESS MODEL 1777 SHORT LAND PATTERN (REVOLUTIONARY WAR PRODUCTION)
This is a British 1777 Short Land Musket. This is a Revolutionary War period musket. The 42 inch barrel is fully marked with the British proofs, “Crown IP” which is believed to be the proof mark of John Pratt. The barrel is also marked “Westmoreland M”.

This is a rare lantern to find. It is often referred to as a “Light House Lantern” due to its octagonal tapering globe. It has a glass whale oil font attached to the base of the lantern.

This is a unique lantern of a light house form. The heavy blown tapering globe is banded at both ends with an applied glass band. This style lantern has the twist and lock style base rather than the pinched globe.

This small looking glass is of the variety commonly made in the New England area. It is constructed of solid mahogany, both molding and surmounts.

This plug payonet is either English or American made and fits in a musket of 75-80 cal. It has rolled and braised brass ferrels. The crossguard is iron in the shape of mortar and cannonball design.
