This is a small knapsack sized telescope. It has the original lens cover and excellent optics. Wooden barrel appears to be mahogany. Early seam construction. 20 inch length extended 8.25 closed 1.75 inch diameter.

British Brown Bess Short Land Pattern 1779S, regimentally marked to the 55th Regiment. The 55th Regiment was given the county title of “Westmoreland Regiment” in 1782. The 1779S Musket was a late war production hurried to provide arms for the Revolutionary War.

British Brown Bess Short Land Pattern 1777, Regimentally marked to the 69th Regiment. Top of barrel stamped with ordnance proof and marked “69th Regt”. The side of the barrel is stamped “*O”. There is a “Crown 9” stamp near the vent.

This is an American Chippendale mirror circa 1790-1800, probably Boston area. It is made of solid mahogany and white pine. The mirror is a little gem, practically unused in untouched attic condition.

This heavy cavalry sword won the name of “Old Wristbreaker” from the men that used it. It was the regulation of 1840 for the US Dragoons. The sword was popular all through the Civil War and this one was contracted by Sheble & Fisher, Philadelphia.

This saber was adapted in 1840 from the French pattern for the light artillery. It was manufactured by Ames Mfg. Co. Chicopee, Mass. The sword has a single-edged curved blade.

This is a militia officer’s sword, brass mounted with counter-guard, helmet pommel and chain guard. It has a solid turned down counter-guard with an American eagle on the obverse side.
