This is an extremely rare Colonial cookbook, “The Accomplished Cook, The Art & Mystery of Cookery”. This book was first published in England in 1660 by Robert May. Robert was born in 1588 and died around 1665.

18TH CENTURY BRASS TAZZA
Tazzas are rare in silver and exceptionally rare in brass. Only a half a dozen have surfaced in the last 50 years, of which I have owned three. The previous tazza that I owned, was acquired by me from a gentleman who was carrying it from a house call in Rome.
