Very rare bronze roasting pan as illustrated in the European book on domestic cookware. The pan was recently found in a home in Maine and is in excellent condition retaining all the points on the Crown Top.
This is a rare candlestick. It is made of pinkish bronze and very thinly turned. It is in excellent condition for a candlestick dating to 1650. The color is almost like copper.

Highly important pair of Diamond and Flame andirons.This pair is the best of the good,better or best.They came from a old house in Virginia and were probably made in Philadelphia.
This mirror outline matches those made by James Stokes in Philadelphia. The mirror is mahogany veneer on pine. It has the rounded upper corners at the inside of the frame.
This is a rare and hard to find pair of pipetongs. They incorporate the pick and tamper on the serpentine handle. Over the years I have sold many pair and this is the pair that I have held back.
